PM Modi mocks Naveen Patnaik's BJD, declares June 4 as 'Expiry Date' for current state government

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has intensified his election campaign in Odisha, targeting the ruling BJD government and predicting its demise on June 4, coinciding with the declaration of Lok Sabha and Odisha assembly election results.

 His remarks come amidst simultaneous elections being held for both the assembly and Lok Sabha in the state. Modi's visit to Odisha includes public rallies in Brahmapur and Nowrangpur, where he continues to rally support for the BJP and criticize the alleged corruption within the BJD administration. This campaigning effort follows the release of BJP's manifesto for the Odisha assembly elections by party president JP Nadda, who also pledged to combat corruption within the BJD.

Following his engagements in Odisha, PM Modi is set to head to Andhra Pradesh for two election meetings alongside NDA alliance partners, including N Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan.

This strategic alliance aims to bolster support for the NDA in the region. Meanwhile, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is gearing up to lead the Lok Sabha campaign in Rae Bareli and Amethi, focusing on securing victories in these crucial constituencies.

The heightened activity across political parties signals the increasing intensity as the Lok Sabha elections progress, with the third phase set to unfold across 93 seats in 12 states and UTs on May 7.
