Silchar announced the team for Nooruddin Trophy senior inter-district cricket

Silchar DSA has unveiled its formidable 15-member squad for the upcoming Nooruddin Trophy Senior district Cricket tournament, with seasoned Ranji star Abhishek Thakuri appointed as the captain. The announcement signals a strategic shift in leadership, as Thakuri takes the reins from the esteemed Pritam Das, who led the team in the previous season.

The decision to entrust Thakuri with leadership stems from a desire to alleviate pressure on Pritam Das, allowing him to focus solely on his performance. Das, a stalwart of Silchar cricket, has graciously endorsed the move, highlighting the team's commitment to nurturing future talent.

In a testament to their depth of talent, Silchar DSA has selected a formidable squad, headlined by Ranji stars Pritam Das and Sameek Das, along with rising talents such as Parvez Musharraf and Amit Jadhav.
