After being elected as the 15th CM of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma-led state cabinet took oath at Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati on Monday. 

Dr. Biswa Sarma led the BJP govt. of Assam on Monday released a written notice of its elected Cabinet Ministers. The notice issued stated the Member's name and designated post:

Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister:
Home, Personnel, PWD and any other department not alloted to any other minister.


Shri Ranjit Kumar Das: 
Panchayat and rural development, Public Health Engineering, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.

Shri Atul Bora:
Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Border Area Development, Implementation of Assam accord, Cooperation.

Shri Urkhao Gwra Brahma:
Handloom and Textile, Soil Conservation, Welfare of plain tribe and backward classes (BTC)

Shri Chandra Mohan Patowary:
Transport, Industries and Commerce, Skill development, Welfare of minorities.

Shri Parimal Shuklabaidya:
Environment and Forests, Fisheries, Excise.

Shri Keshab Mahanta:
Health and Family Welfare, Science and Technology, Information Technology.

Shri Ranuj Pegu:
Education, Welfare of plain tribe and backward classes (non-BTC)

Shri Ashok Singhal:
