Tragic road accident claims life of college student in Digorkhal

In a devastating turn of events, Shahid Hasan Majumdar, a college student, has tragically passed away while undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College Hospital. The incident occurred following a harrowing road accident on National Highway 6 in Digorkhal Shivnagar.

Shahid Hasan Majumder and Minnatullah Rahmani, both residents of Leverputa village and students of Kalain SR College, were severely injured when they were struck by a bike behind a closed dumper.

The collision took place at high speed, causing the victims to fall onto the road. Local bystanders rushed to their aid and swiftly transported them to Kalin Primary Hospital.

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, their conditions remained critical, necessitating their transfer to Silchar Medical College Hospital. Tragically, Shahid Hasan Majumdar succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, plunging the entire area into mourning.
