Trainees of the "PM Vishwakarma" project have filed a written complaint with the District Magistrate of Cachar, alleging incomplete training and financial discrepancies. The complaint stems from a 6-day training workshop conducted at Sonai Center on February 9, organized by "Ascensive Educare Limited". Approximately 150 male and female trainees from various areas of the district participated in the workshop, during which they were asked to pay 4000 rupees for expenses on the final day.

However, the trainees claim that their training was not completed as promised, and they were not reimbursed for the 4000 rupees they had paid for their traveling expenses. The group of trainees, hailing from distant locations such as Lakshipur, Barkhola, Silchar, Sonabari Ghat, and Kalain in Cachar district, expressed their disappointment and frustration over the unfulfilled assurances.

The trainees were assured that they would receive a sewing machine and tool kit worth 15000 rupees, along with sewing and Raj mistry training. Despite the participation of over 100 men and women in the 6-day workshop at Sonai Center, the promised training and equipment were not provided on the last day of the workshop.

Basu Ranjan Biswas, the North East Incharge of "Assentive Educare Limited", has been approached for comments on the matter. However, despite assurances, the trainees have not received their dues even after three months. Consequently, they submitted a written complaint to the district administration on Tuesday, seeking assistance in resolving their grievances.

Among those present during the filing of the complaint were Uma Saha, Pompi Pal, Tinku Saha, Jyotsna Begum, Sahnaz Barabhuiya, Aamir Uddin, Sirajul Haque Majumdar, and others. The trainees hope that their appeal for cooperation will lead to a resolution of their issues.
