Teacher arrested in Sonai for attempting to molest neighbor's minor

Raju Das Choudhury, a teacher from Gobindnagar of Sonai Shadhinata Bazar GP, has been arrested by Sonai police on charges of attempting to molest a minor. Raju Das Choudhury is a teacher at the Indramoni Das Choudhury LP School in Gobindnagar village.

It is learned that on the night of December 20, 2023 the accused Raju Das Choudhury entered the minor's house and attempted to molest her. The minor fainted in the process. Later, the minor's mother woke up to the cries of other girls and saw the accused fleeing.

The minor's mother filed a case at Sonai police station. Based on the investigation of the case, the police arrested the accused.

The minor and her mother have demanded justice.
