ABVP Silchar Unit burns an effigy of a stabbing Jihadi as a prolific mark of condemnation.

It is so heart wrenching a fact to witness that the country which snatched her independence from the Britishers only because of the zeal of the nationalists, nationalists are being stabbed on the road for no reason. 

An unfortunate incident took place on 29th October in Kailashahar, Tripura where a worker of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was brutally stabbed. Shibaji Sengupta, the stabbed worker was involved in ABVP's mass membership drive. While he was walking across the town, he was stabbed in the stomach with by an Islamist extremist. The suspected extremist belongs from an extremist outfit based on Bangladesh, lead by Mohammad Nazmul Islam, supposedly.

To condem the attack on its worker, ABVP's National General Secretary Nidhi Tripathi called for a countrywide protest to be done by each and every ABVP unit of the country. Thus, ABVP Silchar Unit today protested against the brutal attack committed against its fellow karyakarta, raised slogans and burned an effigy of the Jihadi. The protest took place near the Khudiram Bose Statue, Club Road, Silchar.
